My wife and I took in my grandmothers' rocking chair that she used to read stories to my brother and I while we sat in her lap some 50 years ago. The chair had seen its fair share of wear a tear over the years, was worn out, rickety, and had been moved across no less than four states, and perhaps from Germany as well. I have held on to this chair and the memories it held, (my brother passed away in 1978, my grandmother in 1988), hoping one day to get it refurbished. That has been accomplished due to the fine attention to detail and craftsmanship of Irwin's Furniture Restoration. My wife and I are simply astounded at how well it looks, now functions as it is quite sturdy from what it was, and mirrors that of a fine art piece of furnishing.
